The Appoquinimink School District’s School Board election is scheduled for May 13, 2025, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.  This election will determine one At-Large seat for a four-year term ending on June 30, 2029.

 

Eligibility to Vote:

To participate in this election, you must:

• Be a U.S. and Delaware citizen.

• Be at least 18 years old.

• Reside within the Appoquinimink School District.

• Provide proof of identity and address, such as a Delaware driver’s license, state ID card, work ID with photo and home address, or U.S. postal material with your street address. 

 

Polling Places:

You can cast your vote at any of the following locations:

Bunker Hill Elementary School - 1070 Bunker Hill Rd, Middletown, DE 19709

Cedar Lane Elementary School - 1259 Cedar Lane Rd, Middletown, DE 19709

Olive B. Loss Elementary School - 200 Brennan Blvd, Bear, DE 19701

Marion Proffitt Training Center - 118 S Sixth St, Odessa, DE 19730

Middletown High School - 120 Silver Lake Rd, Middletown, DE 19709

Old State Elementary School - 580 Tony Marchio Dr, Townsend, DE 19734

Townsend Elementary School - 126 Main St, Townsend, DE 19734

You may vote at any of these locations regardless of your assigned polling place. 

 

Absentee Voting:

If you are unable to vote in person on Election Day, you can request an absentee ballot. To do so, complete an absentee ballot application and submit it to the Department of Elections. Ensure your voted ballot is returned to the Department before 8 p.m. on Election Day.
